As humans, we each have certain principles, rules of life that guide us. Okay, that's if you have them, if not, you should make them yours and respect them, guide yourself by them. What makes this? What is the importance of principles?
Because as it will the wind is blowing, so will you. You will always be in the wind. You will not know what you want, what you accept, what you do not accept and where you want to go. It is best to create certain principles that fit your personality and you will become a person of integrity, strong and responsible.
2 years ago, I had no principles, no rules, nothing. I was simply going with the flow. After an eye-opening incident, I decided to change myself and move from the paradigm of a "good person" or a "good boy" to a balanced person, a man. I started implementing what I say NO to and what I say YES to. People will start to respect you a lot more that way, they will see that you are exactly what you want and know who you are. They will want to spend more time with you.
On the other hand, how would you consider a person who swallows everything and does whatever they are told. Who doesn't have a say? This is where that saying came from – "When you're good, you're taken for a fool". You will be considered weak, and people will try to do whatever they want with you.
Start thinking about certain principles to respect and guide yourself by. Now I'm not saying to have every principle for every little thing. No. To have a few principles for every aspect of your life.
And don't care what people say about it. and to accept the refusal if it comes to this.
As an example, some principles of mine:
- I don't get consumed or angry about what I can't control.
- I say NO to lies and manipulation
- I say NO to disrespect
- I and only I am responsible for my future.
- I don't apologize for who I am and what I do.
And so on. I think you get the idea. And if that person gets angry? That's it, it means they don't respect you, and without respect, nothing is born. No friendship, no attraction, nothing. Nada!
And it's even better if you have people around you who respect you!
