A kind of introduction

A kind of introduction

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

—Oscar Wilde.

Until recently, in the modern era, the roles of men and women were well-established and separate. Men were supposed to go out and earn money. Women were supposed to stay home and take care of the children.

Then came a period in which both men and women sought to balance their specific masculine and feminine manifestations, respectively, which made them want to be more like each other. Men learned to let go and gave up their rigid attitude, women increased their masculine side, being more determined, having clear goals, practical sense and overall vision, gradually gaining financial and political independence.

It has become a good thing for men to accept their inner femininity and women to accept their inner masculinity, but the side effects of this tendency towards even sexual similarity can be considered an important cause of the unfulfillment felt in intimacy. The tendency towards balance has led to economic and social equality, but also to a kind of sexual neutrality. Bank accounts are balanced while passions die down.

To understand why this happens, we must understand the nature of sexual passion and spiritual openness. Sexual attraction is always based on sexual polarity, which expresses that force of passion that occurs between the masculine and feminine poles. Everything that manifests in this universe expresses itself in the form of two polar opposite forces.

The north and south poles of the earth create a magnetic force. Likewise, the masculine and feminine poles between people create the circuit of sensation and sexual attraction. If we want true passion, we need a seducer and a seduced; otherwise, we just have two friends who decide to interact amorously, but often in a pathetic way for both of them.
