Why “Superior Man”? – The Truth Behind the Name

I've been getting questions and even waves of controversy about the name of the page "BarbatulSuperior". Some people think the title is about considering myself superior or about putting a barrier between men and women. I want to finally clear up this misconception and show what "superiority" really means to me and to this community.

No, it's not about ego or gender differences

Let's be clear from the start: I didn't choose the name to convey that men are superior to women or that I, personally, would feel superior to anyone. I respect women as much as I respect men, and the idea of superiority is not about "who is better," but about who becomes better than their version of themselves yesterday.

It's all about evolution, about the courage to take responsibility for your life, about stopping blaming others and building your life with meaning. Women and men are different, but equal in value and potential. Each person has their own gifts, challenges and story. The world needs everyone's energy and authenticity, and polarity is not something bad, but something natural – as long as there is respect, clarity and responsibility.

What does "superiority" mean to me?

When I chose the name "Superior Man", I wanted to challenge men to become the best version of themselves: assertive, present, strong, but with an open heart and respect for everything that life means.
A superior man does not mean a perfect man. I don't even believe in perfection – but in progress. It's about that man who doesn't sit on the couch feeling sorry for himself and doesn't hide behind excuses. It's about the one who takes his life into his own hands, has clear principles, knows how to say "no", has a backbone and doesn't let himself be carried away by the tide of society, the expectations of others or his own fears.

I see more and more men every day who lose their masculine essence: they become insecure, confused, they leave the initiative and responsibility on the shoulders of women. I chose this name as a statement against mediocrity, of “going it alone”. It is a reminder that a real man does not define himself by comparing himself to a woman or another man, but only to himself.

Masculine energy is not about control, it's about presence.

Often, when I see men's interactions with women, I notice a lack of courage, a lack of authenticity. Many are silent, they hide, they are afraid to be honest or take a stand. Others try to impress with empty words, gifts or promises, but they forget who they really are. This is not superiority, it is toxic adaptation.
Superiority, in the sense of my page, is not about dominating, but about inspiring. It's not about being in control, but about being present. It's about men who have the courage to be vulnerable and yet firm. To know their values and honor them. To not let themselves be emptied by anxieties or shame, to not let themselves be carried away by the current, but to know clearly who they are and what they want from life.

Why the name superior man?

Conclusion – There is no “better” or “worse”, only the choice to become authentic

So, if you've ever wondered why the "Superior Man," the answer is simple: because every man has the potential to become something more than what society tells him he should be. It's not about being above someone, it's about being above the old YOU.

Society needs real models, not perfection and comparisons. It needs committed, authentic people, with principles, with limits and with respect. Both for themselves and for others.

The real challenge, for each of us, is to allow ourselves to grow, to ask questions, to step out of our comfort zone, and to build relationships and communities based on respect, integrity, and collaboration.
